We have two dogs, both Jack Russell Terriers they are brother and sister. Their names are Molly and Rocky and we have had them for five years and they are still considered our babies. We got them just before our son Kevin went to college, and right after our first dog Scooter passed away.

They are long haired terriers and need to be groomed about once ever 2 or 3 months. We have had several problems with this and they would often return upset and out of sorts, with their nails not clipped and inconsistent shaving patterns. Rocky would often return traumatized and was frequently sick after grooming. However, my wife found a great groomer in Belmont Ma called Gentle Grooms, and after our second visit, it is obvious that we have found someone that the dogs like and a groomer that really tries to make our babies feel comfortable and at ease through this process.

Sandra is the owner of Gentle Grooms and she has a special way with the dogs. Knowing the Rocky may have a problem, Sandra asked me to stay while she trimmed, washed and cleaned them up. Oh what an adventure.

Both Rocky and Molly did very well and I snapped a few pictures on my iPhone. I am sure that the combination of me being there and the way that Sandra spoke and worked with them, really made the difference.

If you live in the Boston, Belmont, Watertown or Waltham area and have dogs that need to be groomed, I would definitely recommend Sandra at Gentle Grooms.
