How are you doing? Good I hope. I am having a problem getting into facebook. I am a recent graduate from ECU. While I was in school I was using my school email and linked that account to my facebook page. It is now disabled and I cannot reset my password because I am not able to recieve the new one on my disabled email account. Is there anyway that you or somone else can send me a temporary password so I can get on my page? If you or anyone else could do this, I would greatly appreciate it. I have a Facebook account with dozens of friends and family members on my friends list that I have no other way of keeping contact with except through Facebook. Three days ago my account was disabled by an administrator due to “persistent misuse” of the site. I was participating in a “Fluff Friends” application and had no idea I was misusing the site. I have contacted several addresses for Facebook apologizing and asking for my account back including but not limited to:

I didn’t send spam, I just wanted to invite my school friends to join my group of classmates.
I think it’s wrong and unfair to disable my account.
The only thing I wanted, was to invite my old classmates that aren’t my facebook friends to join my group who has as a title “(School name) 1995 classmates”

I have emailed every single email that is listed on the facebook concerning login problems. My account has been deactivated and I cannot get a response. Can you help?
I went on a mission trip to Honduras recently and was only able to access my facebook twice during a time period of 2 weeks. When i got back into the States i turned my phone back on (I receive facebook mobile text messages) and accepted a few friend invitations from people i had met. The next morning when i got home and tried to log on to facebook i found that my account had been disabled for an unapparent reason, as i am nowhere near any of the limits and have barely even been on my account. Now i am trying to contact the administrators to get the problem solved so that i can add friends and get pictures from my trip but i’m getting no responses. I need my account restored as soon as possible for those reasons, but i don’t know what to do next. Please contact me with any suggestions.

Please forgive me, I have already emailed you this, aswell as my correspondance with FB, because I am upset and annoyed that this has now been allowed to happen to me twice.
I reported and emailed FB abuse, privacy, disabled and support addresses yesterday when I found my account disabled for no given reason. Still they have not replied any of my emails about why I have once again been apparently disabled on account of some troll or other telling lies about me. All of this stupid ‘vendetta’ harks back to the Barry Ley incident a few weeks ago that I accidentally found myself caught up in, when I was again disabled because someone had made claims that I was someone else, or some such nonsense. Several people were bullied very badly prior to this as FB know, and some even had to contact the police,who are investigating internationally regarding the threats etc made at that time.
And now it sems that I have unwittingly been dragged into another branch of this seemingly ongoing ‘war’.
I know what has been said – that I am a fake profile, despite my having proved that I am not on one occasion already – and I know who has said it – one or other of John Carlon’s many profiles (Milo Moon, Jon Abaddon, Luke Tobias, Teddy Topham, Fabious Smith (a piss-take of my own surname); take your pick, they have all posted nasty personal comments to me repeatedly for ages now, all of which I have reported and ignored. I have not been rude to any of these people, and this is an unprovoked attack; I do not even know this man, and have no clue why he is treating me this way. He is also doing this to someone else on my friends list, and an Adam Gregory accused me on a BNP group of being the same person as this other guy; this is not true at all. Neither of us are fake profiles, and I operate only one account on Facebook.
I do not see the point in trolling, and I do not have the faintest idea why these people keep targetting me, but I think it is very unfair that twice now FB have seemingly taken their word as gospel and disabled me without bothering to check first.
I feel I am being victimised by someone who consistently breaks FB terms, and is allowed to get away with it time after time after time. Also, this morning, I was told by the bank that there is a problem and a potential fraud alert on my bank account; considering that my account details are also used on my FB account, I find this highly suspicious,and think this man could also be harvesting users details for profit. I have filed a fraud warning with both the bank and the police, in case money starts going missing, too.
I think FB have handled this situation appallingly on both occasions, and if it were not for the fact that A: I love FB games and can only keep in touch with certain people using it and B: I will not be driven off FB by some petty little hateful troll who thinks he has some kind of a vendetta, I would not be asking for my account back.
Fact is, if you actually bother to check, I have been the victim not only of the abuse detailed above, but also a few days ago was sent very threatening PMs by another man who I did not know, I can only conclude that this is some kind of hate campaign. I hope that with the info I have provided, you can see that this is obviously the case, too.
I have attached both conversations between myself and the friend that is being smack-talked and also a screencap of what I saw posted about myself when I logged in earlier from a temporary account I made in order to keep an eye on things (in accordance wit hyour terms, once I had got what I wanted to see, I deacivated this account and do not plan to use it at any time after my real account is handed back to me). I have been told that my persnal pics have been posted on various groups, too, and I do not know how these have been accessed, but I imagnie it’s the same way they have accessed my bank acount.
I even bought a new PC, so I could not be accused of having fake accounts, but apparently FB do not check IP addresses; if they did, they would see that I have only ever accessed one account from this IP, and that the man named above operated at least 6 or 7 from his. Who looks guilty whenyou scrath the surface? Really??
I read articles online saying how easy it was to hack and phish FB, and am frankly now concerned for my personal safety and also that of my finances. I have also, as you cansee from the MSN attachments, been accused of being a ‘bully’; again, a quick look into this will show you that I have never ever used this account for any kind of nastiness or rulebreaking, and have certainly never bullied anyone; it is me that is being bullied, and I hope you acan now see that fact.
I do hope you take this on board, it is not just about FB – though I am livid abut that – it is an actual crime now too and I have had the inconvenience of having to talk with the police and the bank all day as a result.

I’m having a problem with viewing my albums on my facebook. When I click “next” it will move to the next picture for a second or two and then it flips back a picture or two or three…I can’t just view them consecutively.

I have a similar situation as above . . . supposedly I was disabled b/c of spam and I think what happened is I opened a video sent to me via facebook and somehow it downloaded an ad for spyware that kept popping up. I tried to clear it off my system and I think it might still be on there. Everytime I logged into facebook it would immediately bump me off the system and I would get a warning via email and then the third time it told me I was disabled. Hello. My facebook account Sergeant Zarbon was disabled. I have absolutely no idea why. I didn’t submit anything improper or write anything improper for that matter. Once again I find myself disabled; apparently this time for spamming and abuse – neither of which I have done.
A few months back, my life was put in danger by FB not acting on reports etc, and this is how they still treat me?

I seem to be having the same problem many of the others who are posting have experienced. I noticed that spam had been sent from my facebook accnt. A couple days later it happened again. For the last week I haven’t been able to change or clear my status, send messages or leave comments, upload photos, contact the feedback page, etc. etc. The only thing Facebook is letting me do is check the newsfeed, notifications and updates, and view profile pages. I tried to post yesterday what happen with my face book account and it was remove for security reason what I don’t understand till now what kind of prove you want to convince your aim company that my account had been hacked I suggested a live chat to show myself so you can identify my picture also I can have my both kids around me to show you that I m the real one .
Finally what I want to say I totally under shock now instead of disabling or deleting the account had been hacked you disable my alternative account is this should be acceptable from a big service provider.

My email account was hacked over Halloween weekend and the hacker was able to get ahold of my facebook account and they changed the passwords to both my facebook account and email. They are using my account like it is me, adding friends, responding to group invites etc. How can I get my account back? Please help…Brandon Crisp is a local 15 year old boy whose body was recently found after a 3 week search including coverage on America’s most wanted. A big deal since we are in a small town (Barrie,ON) in canada. The community is devastated as are his famiy and hundreds of his young friends.
If you do a search under Brandon Crisp you will find hate profiles such as Brandon’s Tree (he was found under a tree) or one’s where his picture was altered to show him covered in snow. These must be stopped but without adding them you can not report them. I reported Brandon’s tree but by adding them I am exposing my identity and putting my family at risk.

Hi i’m Param Bajwa my account has been disabled as per voilating terms of facebook but as soon as i got the warning i stoped it suddenly after two days i was using my account in the evening but when i loged in in the evening it was disabled. I apologies on my missusing facebook but as it is the only source my contact with my friends around the world. I requst it’s activation. Please reply as soon as possible.

I have received an inappropriate photo warning for the second time as a Facebook user. I consciously screen my photos to protect myself, so you can imagine how obnoxious it must seem to get written threats from Facebook on the matter. You must realize that Facebook threatens people, and I find that unacceptable. The tone of the message is completely unnecessary, and the supposed inability to show the user the removed content is ridiculous. How are users supposed to know what is unacceptable content if they don’t get to see what was removed. Many people have too many pictures to be able to tell which one was removed. I really enjoy facebook, and have been on board since the beginning. I just wish the site and its admins would be more reasonable.
Also, there needs to be a way to contact Facebook directly. I thank you for providing a face to an otherwise impossible to contact company.

My facebook account has recently been diabled and most of my church friends and family members are on it.. It is really inconvience for me now. I the undersigned wish to bring to your kind notice that being an integral member of facebook for the last eight months was unable to open my facebook profile today the 12th December 2008.On logging in it showed that one of the administrators of facebook has disabled my account. I was completely in a state of shock as I’m a big fan of facebook and addicted to facebook.I am really depressed and sad as I have lost contacts with all my friends who stay very far away from where I live .Everything was okay till yesterday where I last logged in at around 8pm.Toiday from returning from school I logged into facebook at around 3pm and found that my account had been disabled by one of the administrators. My account has been disabled from sending msgs to my friends. And right before Christmas, when I have things I’ve been anticipating on fluff friends. From what I’ve been reading on here, if I email the above “people” I will not hear from them til after Christmas.
I am very upset by this, I am not “abusing” my friends. We all talk together. I could see if I was sending tons of messages to strangers (ppl who are not my friends on fb) but I’m not.
It’s a social networking site that doesn’t want you to talk to your friends too much? Who decides these rules?
If I didn’t enjoy a few apps so much, I would have been rid of it long ago.
I’m going to send some emails asking for my account to be unblocked. But what else can I do?

Hi. I was searching for facebook contact information and came across this page. There are many people who posted the same issue that I am having and they all asked for your help. I was hoping you could help me. My facebook account was disabled by an administrator almost a week ago for what they’re claiming is a fake account. My account is very much real and I have done nothing to warrant the disabling of my account. I emailed facebook atleast 7 times since and have yet to receive a response. If there is anything you can do for me that would be greatly appreciated and very helpful. I now am a person without a network because I changed my network the other night while looking for old friends outside my network. Why am I getting punished for changing networks having no idea I was committing a silly facebook crime?
I am now thinking of closing my facebook account. Too bad we have no real way to contact them either.

Can you please help me? A few days ago, my computer rebooted and so I was logged out of Facebook. When I tried to log back in, it said that the Facebook email/password didn’t match. After several attempts, I requested a password reset and they said that the email was not registered. I have tried to contact Facebook with no response. My facebbok page is my life, all my friends from many aspects of my life, babysitting contacts, photos from important events, groups I am a part of. If you can help me that would be greatly appreciated! I know that my page is still there because I can access my page through my sister’s account. I have not received any emails about misuse or my account being disabled. I recently changed my primary email to the contact one below from my college one because I don’t have access to my college account I signed up with. If this caused the problem, how can I fix it. I just want to give you as much info about the situation as possible. Thank you for your help.

Me myself, I’d also like to ask one question that I couldn’t find anywhere answered in the FAQs nor in the web:
How can I enter a specific URL to a facebook fansite? There’s a couple of fansites that can be found on http://www.facebook.com/name_of_fansite. Is there a way to enter this manually or is it necessary to contact the support team for such an issue? If so, do you know whom to address to?
